General Rules

  1. BE BOLD! in updating pages. Go ahead, it's a wiki!
Encourage others, including those who disagree with you, likewise to BE BOLD!
  2. Be civil to other users at all times.
  3. Ignore all rules. If the rules discourage you from improving or maintaining the wiki's quality, ignore them.
  4. When in doubt, take it to the talk page. We have all the time in the world. Mutual respect is the guiding behavioural principle of Wikia and, although everyone knows that their writing may be edited mercilessly, it is easier to accept changes if the reasons for them are understood. If you discuss changes on the article's talk (or discussion) page before you make them, you should reach consensus faster and happier.
  5. Respect copyright. Wikia uses the GNU Free Documentation License. Everything you contribute must be compatible with that license.
  6. Decent edit summaries and clear and transparent explanations are universally appreciated. Other editors need to understand your process, and it also helps you yourself to understand what you did after a long leave of absence from an article. Please state what you changed and why. If the explanation is too long, add more on the discussion page.
  7. Assume good faith; in other words, try to consider that the person on the other end of the discussion is a thinking, rational being who is trying to positively contribute to the project — unless, and only unless, you have firm, solid, and objective proof to the contrary. Merely disagreeing with you is no such proof.
  8. Particularly, don't revert good faith edits. Reverting is too powerful sometimes. Don't succumb to the temptation, unless you're reverting very obvious vandalism (like "LALALALAL*&*@#@THIS_SUX0RZ", or someone changing "1+2=3" to "1+2=17"). If you really can't stand something, revert once, with an edit summary something like "(rv) I disagree strongly, I'll explain why in talk." and immediately take it to talk.
  9. No personal attacks. Don't write that user such and so is an idiot, or insult him/her (even if (s)he is an idiot). Instead, explain what they did wrong, why it is wrong, and how to fix it. If possible, fix it yourself (but see above).
  10. Be graceful: Be liberal in what you accept, be conservative in what you do. Try to accommodate other people's quirks the best you can, but try to be as polite, solid, and straightforward as possible yourself.
  11. Sign your posts on talk pages using ~~~~, which gets replaced by your username and timestamp when you hit Save. But don't sign on mainspace articles.
  12. Use the preview button; it helps prevent edit conflicts and mistakes.

Blog Rules

  • You must not spam. Blogs usually attract spam, especially funny blog. But spamming is bad both for the wiki activity and for the blog since the users that have reasonable arguments and want to participate in the blog can't due to the spam comments. Please remember that if you spam a blog, it means that you don't respect neither the blog itself, nor the author of the blog.
  • You must not troll. The reasons are the same as spamming. Please bare in mind that if you make troll or spam comments an administrator will delete them, and if they get out of hand, the entire blog will be deleted.
  • You must not swear. If you have a disagreement with a user, please use constructive arguments and avoid insults. If you start swearing your comments will be deleted and if you keep doing it on multiple blogs it may result to a ban.
  • You must not post images with violence or porn. If you post that kind of images on blogs or anywhere else, you will be banned from this wiki and of course your comments and images will be deleted immediately.

Creating A Blog

When you create a blog, please note that there are some things you must avoid.

  • You must not create blogs that attract spam and trolls. If you do that, even unintentionally, your blog will be filled with useless comments that spam the recent activity so your blog will be either locked or deleted.
  • You must not create power level blogs. That kind of blogs only attract useless comments and swearing so they will be deleted.

Forum Rules

Creating A Forum

When you create a forum, you must follow some rules in order to make it easier to find and to attract more editors.

  • All the forum topics must be signed. If an unsigned forum is created, it will be deleted, unless the creator instantly signs. If you keep creating unsigned forum topics, you will probably get a ban for violating the rules.
  • When you create a forum, you must add it in the correct category. If a forum is in the wrong category, or uncategorized, it will be deleted and not fixed, so be sure to add your forums in the correct category.
  • Your forum must not contain spam, trolling or images harmful for the wiki. As a wiki, we only allow serious forum that do not contain or attract spam, trolling or swearing.
  • Be respectful and bare with the other users' opinions. If you do not respect the other users and if you act like you can do whatever you want because you created the forum, the forum will be deleted and that behavior may result to a ban.

Commenting On A Forum

  • Be respectful. If you start insulting people or misbehaving your comments will be removed and if you keep doing it, you will get a ban.
  • Sign your posts. If you don't sign, it will be very difficult for the other users to figure out who commented on that forum. The {{Unsigned}} template will not always do that job and if you keep posting unsigned comments, they will be removed.

Badge Rules

Badge Etiquette

We all love prizes, on this Wikia you can earn badges if you are a registered member and make edits on the site. Think of them as accolades earned for your hard work in the field of battle, or typing in this case. Your badges, once earned, will NEVER disappear no matter what and no one can take them away from you. Because of this, one simple rule must be followed.

  • Never cheat or scam the system. If you are found to be making pointless/useless edits to simply earn badges, you will be given a warning on your message board to stop. If you continue to "edit scam" in an attempt to earn more badges, you will be given a one-week ban. If you further continue this behavior at any point after your one-week ban, you will be banned from the wikia for a year.
