Story[]

Golden Age Arc[]

Borkoff eclipse

Borkoff in the Eclipse.

Borkoff first appears during the ritualistic slaughter of the Band of the Falcon during the Eclipse ceremony. Borkoff snapped his jaws around Guts' left wrist to preventing him from reaching Casca as the other apostles gathered to ravage her until stopped by the emergence of Griffith as Femto.[1] As Griffith began to rape Casca in front of him, Guts tried to break free of Borkoff's jaws by using Gaston's sword. Since the sword could not penetrate the apostle's hide, Guts chose to amputate his arm with the broken blade.[2]

Millennium Falcon Arc[]

Borkoff Manga

Borkoff against the daka.

Borkoff is a member in the new Band of the Falcon in the demon lancer unit under Locus' orders. Borkoff and the demon lancers later assault Wyndham Palace, easily breaking Kushan's lines. The apostle forces are confronted by a large number of daka, pishacha and Emperor Ganishka himself. Although they are rivals of the daka demon and the war elephants, they cannot stop Ganishka when he enters his own apostle form, who proceeds to kill much of the force.[3] This situation is part of Griffith's plan, as he and Zodd break the roof of Charlotte's tower and free her from her captivity in the city while Ganishka is busy. After Locus is signaled that Griffith has rescued Charlotte, he nods to Borkoff, who proceeds to ram each of the city walls in front of him as he charges the daka, creating a massive series of holes which the apostle force uses to retreat from the city.[4]

After this, Borkoff is present in the next assault on Kushan in Vritannis,[5] and in the final battle with Shiva.[6]

Fantasia Arc[]

Borkoff is seen fighting in Pandemonium arena against an ogre in gladiatorial combat. While the ogre at first seemed to have the advantage, the apostle eventually killed the ogre and devoured its entrails.[7]

Notes[]

  • Like many members of the Demon Lancer Unit, Borkoff has a head on his lower back.
