Gyove is a Berserk: Millennium Falcon Arc - Flowers of Oblivion Chapter character. He acts as Baron Balzac's right hand, and leads a black ops unit known as the Demon Hunters (悪魔狩り隊). He also oversees experimentation on mandragorans.
Appearance[]
Gyove is a short elderly man. He sports while balding hair and beard and wears noble clothing.
Personality[]
He has a cowardly, ruthless and cruel personality.
Story[]
Gyove appears along Balzac when the latter hears about how the swordsman defeated Job as a mandragoran. After Guts accepts Balzac's offer to retrieve the Mandragora Heart for him, Gyove is given the task to kill the swordsman once he fulfilled his part of the bargain. Gyove first makes his move by attacking the rebels' base, killing everyone save Casca -who he takes captive- and Rita, letting the latter run off to find Guts. Gyove later reaches the mandragoran village, having it set on fire while killing some of the mandragorans. But Eriza's sacrifice and the sudden appearance of Zodd forces Gyove and his men to flee. Gyove later leads a last line of defense against Guts when he mounts an assault on Balzac's castle, dying as a result when Guts reaches him.
